
Restart Foundation has announced that Rob Rinder MBE, renowned barrister, broadcaster, and author, has become an official patron.
Rob, known for his passionate advocacy for mental health and social equality, brings his extensive experience and dedication to the foundation’s mission of fostering mental health and resilience in Ukraine.
Rob Rinder’s career spans legal expertise, impactful documentaries such as “My Family, The Holocaust, and Me” and public service, including his well-known show “Judge Rinder“. His personal connection to the mental toll of conflict was highlighted in his BAFTA-winning appearance on “Who Do You Think You Are?“, which deeply resonated with Restart Foundation’s values.
Awarded an MBE in 2020 for his commitment to Holocaust education and holding multiple honorary doctorates, including a Doctor of Literature from University College London in 2024, Rob has also been a vocal supporter of Ukraine. He reported live from the Ukraine-Polish border in March 2022, witnessing firsthand the mental impact of the conflict. As a patron, Rob will support Restart Foundation in its work to help Ukraine rebuild into a resilient and thriving nation.
Beyond his legal and humanitarian work, Rob Rinder is also the President of the Orion Orchestra, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing young talent and his passion for music.
